Bantayan Island is a beautiful, small island with many objects of interest, like the market, the church from the 15th century and the many caves, which are scattered all over the island.

The largest town of the island is the city of Bayantan with approximately 60.000 inhabitants.

The ferry boats land directlyin Santa Fe and it´s only a-10-minute-ride to The Bamboo Oriental resort by tricycle.

Bantayan Island is approx. 4 hours away from the international airport of Cebu.

If desired, you will be received by our shuttle service directly at Cebu Airport and will be taken to Hagnaya in the northwest of the island. Here you find the ferry-port to Bantayan Island, where ferry-boats ferry to Santa Fe, several times a day. In Santa Fe you will be greeted by Robert, the owner of The Bamboo Oriental and the restaurants. He will take you to the resort and will be your responsible contact person during your whole stay.
